The files in this archive will back up any current Combined Community Codec Pack and ffdshow registry settings,
and it will edit your Windows registry to make the proper connections between media file types and the
DirectShow decoders in the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP).

Specifically, we disable the following from the installer:

- Haali MP4 Splitter
- FLV Splitter (this conflicts with the On2 FLV Splitter installed by the Flix Engine).

We enable the following codecs in ffdshow:

- H.263(+)
- MS Video 1
- Indeo 3
- Cinepak
- Techsmith
- VP3
- TrueMotion 1, 2
- MPEG 1
- MPEG 2
- MJPEG
- Nellymoser

We disable the following codecs in ffdshow:

- VP6F (this *may* conflict with the On2 FLV4 filter installed by the Flix Engine. It is disabled to be safe.)

We recommended that you back up your registry before proceeding.

NOTE: The file "ffdshow.reg" assumes that you install CCCP to the 'C' Drive.

INSTALLATION:

1. Download the file Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2009-09-09.exe from http://cccp-project.net.

2. Move the file Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2009-09-09.exe
to the same folder as on2-install-cccp.bat, ffdshow.reg, and haali.reg.

3. Double-click the on2-install-cccp.bat file.

4. A command window will open and the installer will run with the On2 recommended settings.
If the installer completes successfully changes will be committed to the registry.

5. Take note if the script asks you to restart your system.

6. Press any key to close the command window.

RESTORING YOUR SETTINGS:

If, after using this installer script, you need to restore your original CCCP/ffdshow settings, run:

>%CommonProgramFiles%\On2 Technologies\settings\restore_settings.bat
