Flix Live takes live video input from a capture device and compresses it using VP6 for Adobe Flash. The application then connects with an FLV streaming server to stream this live video over the Internet to a Flash player client.

On2 Flix Live requires an FLV streaming server such as Adobe Flash Media Server. FLV streaming services are provided by most of the major content delivery networks (CDNs).

On2 Flix Live is powered by the On2 Flix SDK for Live, which allows you to build live FLV encoding into your desktop or server based application.
