On2's TrueMotion VP6 is a a leading mobile video standard through its inclusion in Adobe Flash Lite™ 3. Hundreds of web video portals, user generated content, and social networking sites use VP6 based Flash for hundreds of millions of users worldwide. A proprietary format with no external patent pools makes for flexible and straightforward licensing terms.
A standard ANSI C implementation, this embedded version of On2's proprietary format is available for various processor cores (ARM, Intel, MIPS, ARC, etc). Optimized versions are available for ARM11 (SIMD), TI DaVinci and Marvell PXA (MMX).
