A Flix Cloud user wrote us to ask about the new cropping tools. His background is in Adobe Premiere and he found himself getting very unexpected results in Flix Cloud. Cropping in Flix Cloud is done differently than most GUI video editing tools, so I thought I’d explain it here in some detail.

A lot of people ask us how to get the best VP6 video quality in Flash and JavaFX.

VP6 encoders don’t require much configuration to create beautiful video, but I thought I’d post some occasional tips for power tweaking your VP6 encoding experience.

To kick off the series, let’s talk about output frame sizes.
