White House dumps YouTube

Update (3/5/09): Google responds.

Chris Soghoian at CNet reports that the White House has dropped YouTube in favor of its own Flash video solution. The impetus seems to be privacy concerns.

They’ve also replaced the two-stream Spark/H.264, watch in high quality/low quality stuff with a single video stream in On2 VP6. Looks nice, everybody can play it, [...]
